- hommasin itselleni tammikuussa The Sims 3 PC -pelin ja siihen alla ensimmäisessä kuvassa olevat lisäosat (Keijuja, noitia, alkemiaa, kummituksia, seikkailuja maailman erilaisissa matkakohteissa, sisustamista... Ihanaa! Todella koukuttavaa! Tämän pelin kanssa vierähtää edelleen ilta jos toinenkin todella helposti, siinä on niin paljon kaunista, kivaa ja jännittävää tekemistä.)
- hommasin itselleni helmikuussa Nintendo 3DS XL -pelikonsolin ja sille aivan ylisöpön suojakotelon (Siinä on kissa! ♥) sekä alimmaisessa kuvassa näkyvät pelit - Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance ja Plants vs Zombies (Ihana konsoli ja ihania pelejä! Nyt eivät pitkät bussi- ja junamatkat tule enää olemaan tylsiä! Vaikka tulee tuolla kyllä aika paljon pelattua ihan kotisohvallakin...)
Miesystäväni kauhisteli, kun käytin näin paljon rahaa asioihin, jotka eivät ole minulle ollenkaan välttämättömiä, mutta Sims 3 ja joku kannettava pelikonsoli olivat olleet haaveissani jo pitkään - tässä nyt tuli minun tämän vuoden joulu- ja synttärilahjat hommattua kertarysäyksellä! Täytyykin olla loppuvuosi oikein kilttinä että ansaitsee kaikki nämä ihanat jutut...
Ja ai niin, yksi asia vielä: Minä ja miesystäväni muutimme helmi-maaliskuun vaihteessa pois sillipurkkikaksiostamme (45 neliötä) noin kilometrin matkan ihanaan, tilavaan kolmioon (70,5 neliötä)! Nyt on tilaa pelata Dance Centralia olohuoneessa! Kovasti on vielä tavaroita järjestelemättä kaappeihin, mutta pikkuhiljaa täällä asettaudutaan taloksi. Olen jo tehnyt ristipistojakin täällä uudessa kodissa, niistä tekstiä ja kuvaa seuraavassa blogipäivityksessä.
My January and February passed without me crossing a single stitch! Instead, I
- bought myself the Sims 3 PC game and the expansions you can see in the first photo above (Fairies, witches, alchemy, ghosts, adventures in different vacation spots around the world, interior decorating... Wonderful! Very addictive! I can easily spend hours with this game without noticing the time go by, there are so many wonderful and exciting things to do!)
- bought myself the Nintendo 3DS XL game console and a really cute travel case for it, plus the games you can see in the second photo above - Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and Plants vs Zombies (I love the console and I love the games, long bus and train rides will never be boring again! Although I do have to admit that I play these games quite a lot at home too...)
Boyfriend was absolutely horrified by how much money I spent on these things that are not absolute necessities, but I had had the Sims 3 and a portable game console of some sort on my wishlist for a while and I really, really wanted them so I decided to just go ahead and get them.
Oh, one more thing - boyfriend and I moved out of our tiny 2-room apartment (45 square metres) into a very nice and spacious 3-room apartment (70,5 square metres)! The new apartment is only about one kilometre away from our old apartment, so it isn't a very big adjustment. And I love the extra space! Plenty of room to play Dance Central in the living room. There's a lot of unpacking still left to do, but we are slowly settling in. I have even stitched a bit in this new apartment, pics of my stitchy progress forthcoming in my next blog post!
