The numbers were just about what I expected, the magazine got as many entries as both of the other prizes put together. The winners were determined by random.org's True Random Number Generator.

IHSW Kesäkuu 2012 / June 2012

Kuten näette, tämän kuun IHSW epäonnistui pistelyn osalta lähes täysin. Olen kai liian innoissani päästyäni vihdoinkin Fairy Wishing Wellin mielenkiintoisimpiin kohtiin pistelläkseni mitään muuta. En kuitenkaan antanut itselleni lupaa pistellä muuta kuin tätä Evening in the Parkia, koska olin päättänyt pyhittää IHSW:t sille. Noiden säälittävän vähäisten pistojen lisäksi kuluneena viikonloppuna kului aikaa lukemiseen (Yasmine Galenornin Ghost of a Chance), mutta siitä lisää myöhemmin. Nyt jatkamaan Fairy Wishing Wellin parissa.

As you can see, this month's IHSW was (almost) a total bust for me. I guess I'm too excited about finally getting to the more interesting parts of Fairy Wishing Well to really concentrate on anything else. However, I didn't permit myself to stitch anything besides Evening in the Park this past weekend, for I had decided to reserve my IHSWs to it. So in addition to spending pathetically little time stitching, I read. The book was Yasmine Galenorn's Ghost of a Chance, and it was a very thought-provoking experience for me. So much so in fact that I think it deserves an entry of its own in the near future. But for now, I'm going to work on Fairy Wishing Well. See you soon(ish) with some musings about the book, religion and spirituality, happiness and how to obtain (and keep!) it, and any other topics my mind stumbles onto while I write.
